I caught AnnMarie as she was heading to a foot fetish shoot. Feet seem to be following me around lately, as I’ve spent years not knowing anything about the fetish and then hearing several women in a few weeks talking about it. It makes me feel the same way I do about drinking beer; I wish I enjoyed it as much as everyone else seems to.
Anyway, AnnMarie is the same AnnMarie as the one who left the hardcore side of the adult business a few years ago, but now she’s back with a vengeance.
“When I left,” she said, “there was drama with boyfriends and money. All the usual stuff. But I stayed in the scene by working at Playboy TV.”
To some, all images of female nudity are porn, whether they be Playboy or Hustler or METArt or “American Bukkake”. I still feel this way, a little. That is why my mind trips and spins for a second when someone says they work at Playboy but don’t work in porn.
In the three years she’s been away, AnnMarie got into yoga, and the previously-babyfaced and somewhat plump Latina is now just as attractive but also elegant. This is not the way for most yoga adherents, however; many simply stop shaving and start drinking awful tea.
I asked AnnMarie what were some of the things she needed to pay attention to for a foot movie.
“Well, the fans get really specific,” she said. “They like you to arch your feet, keep your feet as the centerpiece for every shot, and if they’re also into pantyhose, some guys are very serious about not tearing them.”
“Why?”
“It takes away from the Footness,” she said.
Footness. Word.of.the.Day.
