nikiideniska.jpgGary Gazzman of Porn Week is an accomplished director and shrewd businessman. While “porn star vacations” have been a side business for more than a few porn companies in the San Fernando Valley, bringing together lonely guys with porn girls for a few days of close proximity if not blow jobs in places like Rosarito Beach or the Bahamas, Gazzman allows his guests to help film a porn movie.

I attended a Porn Week event in Las Vegas this year, having heard about the Scots director and also being prepared for a freak show. I was pleasantly surprised that the event was very cool and a good value for his clients’ money while being a safe environment for the women involved.

Prior to this, I thought a porn star vacation was either one of two things: it was either guys paying to sleep with porn girls or it was guys thinking they were paying to sleep with porn girls but not getting to. Gazzman’s Porn Week is a third option.

While performing sex acts for money is the definition of prostitution, most adult performers don’t consider themselves prostitutes. One distinction is that the money for the sex act is coming from a third party, and everyone having sex is being paid for it.

While prostitution is definitely in many a male and female performer’s bag of tricks, Porn Week is about proximity, not prostitution. The understanding is that the women are not there to fuck with the guys unless the guy also wants to appear on film as talent, and thus learn that fucking on film is actually work.

This month Gazzman and crew rented a castle in Brno, Czech Republic for Porn Week, filming vignettes with the vacationers and also shooting a feature, Slam It Brno. Guests paid about $2800 for the privilege.
